 O desenvolvedor e editor Dotemu anunciou que o teste beta aberto do Windjammer 2 começará amanhã em 11 de agosto às 6h PT / 9h ET. Os jogadores poderão competir entre si até 22 de agosto, e o teste se estenderá por PC, PS4 e PS5.


Haverá quatro personagens jogáveis ​​no beta aberto, e eles têm seu próprio conjunto de vantagens. Steve Miller é ótimo para iniciantes e ágil, enquanto Loris Biaggi é o pau para toda obra. A recém-apresentada Sophie de Lys é uma personagem rápida e ágil, e Gary Scott retorna aos ataques de tanques. O próprio Gary estrela um novo trailer detalhando a mecânica do jogo e as estratégias de jogo.

Há uma variedade de diferentes tipos de quadras para jogar, incluindo uma praia de areia, um estádio de carga, um ringue caótico e um telhado alto. Não haverá qualquer jogo cruzado entre PlayStation e PC, entretanto; Os jogadores do PS4 e do PS5 poderão se enfrentar enquanto os jogadores do PC estarão em sua própria liga.
