Super Mario Bros.: O filme

 Super Mario Bros.: O filme tem sido anunciado há algum tempo, e até tem sido objeto de controvérsia, mas a próxima adaptação cinematográfica da franquia mais famosa da Nintendo está chegando e os fãs agora podem definir uma data para ter sua primeira olhada no projeto. Na New York Comic Con, às 16h no horário de Brasília, no dia 6 de outubro, os participantes poderão assistir a um teaser trailer de Super Mario Bros.


O filme de Super Mario Bros. é sobre o encanador homônimo enquanto ele "viaja por um labirinto subterrâneo com seu irmão, Luigi, tentando salvar uma princesa capturada", diz a descrição oficial. Chris Pratt, um tanto controverso, está dublando Mario, enquanto Charlie Day interpreta Luigi. Jack Black interpreta Bowser, enquanto Anya Taylor-Joy é a Princesa Peach e, presumivelmente, a princesa capturada precisando ser salva.

Não se sabe muito sobre o próximo filme, que é dirigido por Aaron Horvath e Michael Jelenic, e ainda menos se sabe sobre como será o visual, mas espero que isso seja revelado no próximo teaser trailer em 6 de outubro.

Matthew Fogel é o escritor de Super Mario Bros. e o roteirista tem créditos para Minions: A Ascensão de Gru, O Filme lego 2: A Segunda Parte, e Príncipe Encantado, entre outros. Seth Rogen está dublando Donkey Kong e Keegan-Michael Key vozes Toad, então espere alguns personagens clássicos da Nintendo no filme.


Nintendo e Illumination apresentarão a estreia do teaser na New York Comic Con no próximo mês, enquanto o lançamento completo do filme de Super Mario Bros. está marcado para 7 de abril de 2023.
