Sonic Prime Teaser Goes Fast

Com o cancelamento de Sonic Boom, Sonic the Hedgehog foi o primeiro a um retorno rápido após o sucesso dos filmes Sonic e a Netflix respondeu ao chamado. Sonic Prime é a mais recente série e é coproduzida pela Sega, Netflix Animation, WildBrain e Man of Action Entertainment.

Em Sonic Prime, vemos o borrão azul e a tripulação precisando viajar através do multiverso. Os fãs podem se lembrar de um tweet misterioso que foi postado acidentalmente no final de 2020, provocando o anúncio, mas logo apagado. A Netflix divulgou o primeiro teaser, que você pode ver abaixo.

Previsto para ser lançado no outono de 2022, com 24 episódios em sua primeira temporada, Sonic Prime traz favoritos dos fãs como Big the Cat, bem como o clone de Sonic Shadow the Hedgehog para a série. Deven Mack fornece a voz de Sonic the Hedgehog com o show focado no universo Sonic existente estabelecido pela Sega, mas se baseará em cima desses mitos.

"Sonic é um personagem amado e tem um lugar especial no coração de todos, incluindo o meu", disse Dominique Bazay, diretora de animação original da Netflix, na época do anúncio da série.

"Passei muitas horas com o borrão azul quando criança", continuou Bazay. "É um privilégio poder trazer esse personagem que todos conhecem e amam em uma nova aventura com a Netflix — uma que uma geração de fãs leais e novos fãs ao redor do mundo pode desfrutar."

Speed Run Strategies unlocked in no time! Always expect missiles. The level designs in Mikey Boots love to throw missiles in what seems to be the central path. Once a missile has passed, it won’t launch again, so take it slowly if you’re not worried about your time. The levels are built such that you should be able to speed through them as long as you maintain your momentum. Timed elements like moving spikes, sparks, and missiles won’t be in your way if you’ve been fast enough reaching them.
