The top of Rovio's charts, Angry Birds 2, is growing fast! It's been three years since our game broke out in players' lives, and its popularity shows no signs of slowing down! And oh boy, were our fans busy or what ?! Since launching in 2015, Angry Birds 2 players have styled more than 400 billion birds, played 140 billion levels, popped an impressive 420 billion green piggies and collected 20 billion stellar stars. When Angry Birds 2 launched in 2015, the world of mobile gaming was a different place compared to the original 2009 angry birds game. Angry Birds 2 introduced fans to a legion of new features that perfected the classic Angry Birds formula. . Highlights include the PvP Arena, where players are pitted against each other to earn jewelry rewards, as well as a chance to compete in leagues and daily challenges. Clan Battles are particularly popular with experienced Angry Birds 2 players, where competitive clans can beat you to earn fabulous rewards. The game also hosted players for Mighty Eagle's Bootcamp - the ultimate angry birds challenge where players compete in a global ranking mammoth. And finally, Angry Birds 2 introduced the adorable Hatchlings, where players can hatch and nurture those uber chicks to increase their slingshot firepower.

An important pillar of Angry Birds 2 is to make players feel more connected with their beloved flocks. We empower players with more ways to plan and plan, encouraging different bird combinations to overcome new challenging levels. With the 3rd anniversary upon us, legions of fans of Angry Birds 2 on Facebook were invited to send original designs for new bird hats. 7 winners have been selected and will see their hats inside Angry Birds 2 from August 3, 2018.
