The Light of Aisha

    The film is the debut of Shadi Adib, an Iranian character designer, animator and director based in Germany. After completing her master's degree in animation at Tehran Art University, she continued her studies at the Animation institut of the Filmakademie Baden- Württemberg. Her student film Fuse was screened in competition at over 150 international film festivals, including the Annecy, Stuttgart and Zagreb animation festivals, receiving awards from the Bucheon International Animation Festival and the Dresden Film Festival. The script for The Light of Aisha was written by Xavier Romero and Llorenç Español and won the Stuttgart Best Animated Script (ITFS) award. The producers are Peter Keydel, Raúl Berninches, Holger Weiss, Joseph Koh, Carlos Fernandez and Laura Fernandez.
