Pokémon’s next anime season gets a new look and a new sidekick

Pokémon’s next anime season gets a new look and a new sidekick by Megan After the latest episode of the Pokémon anime aired in Japan, a trailer for the upcoming season was shown, showing off new designs and hints about where the series is going. Ash has a new look, as expected, and the art style has shifted again, to be more of a blend of the serious style used in Pokémon the Series: XY and the cartoony style we saw in Pokémon the Series: Sun and Moon. Ash’s new companion is a boy named Gou, whose dream is to find Mew and catch many Pokémon. Though the new season will likely have a bunch of Pokémon from the Galar region, the region that Pokémon Sword and Shield is set in, it seems like Ash and Gou will spend the season traveling all over the place, based on the background shown in the video. The background shows a lot of iconic monuments from different regions: the Indigo Plateau from Kanto, the Bell Tower from Johto, Mt. Chimney from Hoenn, Mt. Coronet from Sin...

A Message From Mark Darrah & Matthew Goldman - The Dread Wolf Rises

Matthew Goldman - The Dread Wolf Rises   by Max We have been working on a new Dragon Age game for quite a while now and I am pleased to finally tease the existence of this project! While we won’t be sharing any details for now, I can tell you we have been building a new team around a core of Dragon Age veterans, people I’ve worked with on Dragon Age, Jade Empire, and some of whom I’ve worked with since the Baldur’s Gate days. While I have been focused on Anthem, the rest of the team has been hard at work exploring ways to push BioWare’s storytelling to the next level. I’m so excited to show you more! Making players into heroes of their own stories has been my real-life quest since Baldur’s Gate. Over the years I’ve taken on increasing challenges: building vast living worlds, devising fun party-based combat and illustrating fantastic stories. Now, I’m honored and excited to continue BioWare’s rich legacy of colorful companions, romance and epic choices in my ...
The Art Of Fe   by Max How does nature boost your imagination, productivity and creativity? For me personally, it is where I recharge my imagination. I live on an island with a forest and the ocean right next to me, so I spend quite a lot of time surrounded by nature. Looking out over the ocean helps clear my mind, so I can think up new ideas.  It may sound silly, but the ocean has a quality that connects everything through distance and time. I look at the same dark waves as someone who lived a thousand years ago, waves that always change but always remain the same. The forest however, has quite a different effect on me. It's as if the forest is indoors and the ocean is outdoors. The ocean is terrific, if you need to collect your thoughts by yourself. The forest is great for meetings and discussions with others – ha ha! Where do you start when developing fantastical creatures? If I know what a character or creatu...

Burnout is the first name in arcade racing

Burnout is the first name in arcade racing by Max     Burnout is the first name in arcade racing. Developed by Criterion Games it became known for its arcade-fuelled action, high-flying stunts, amazing crash sequences, slow motion replays and vehicular destruction. These elements have given Burnout a reputation as being one of the greatest names in arcade racing. Join us as we take you through a brief history of one of the world’s most popular gaming franchises. In November 2001, Burnout was introduced to the world, bringing with it over-the-top crashes and high-risk gameplay, as players race at breakneck speed. Its locations were inspired by real-wide cities, distinguished through their environments and the vehicles that populate them. Through modes like Championship , players compete against other cars in a bid to come first on various courses peppered with road traffic, on-coming traffic, cross junctions, and obstacles. Crashing is an iconic eleme...

EA Play for Anthem

EA Play for Anthem by Max review   The endgame of the anthem is surprisingly fun, as its already excellent combat is invigorated by interesting loot and challenging gameplay later. Unfortunately, there is simply not enough content to be worth waiting for, and what is here is inconsistent in terms of polish, clarity and balance. Anthem, as it stands now, is a better adventure saved for a later date. The anthem takes place on the wild frontier of Bastion, an extensive and colorful science fiction filled with aggressive wildlife, enemy faction invasions and mysterious shapers relics that end up being little more than glorified enemy apparitions. You play as a freelancer, an altruistic mercenary who pilots a mechanism called a dart and subsists in the dangerous contracts divided by the inhabitants of Fort Tarsis. This cast of future bohemians is usually charming and well-acting, sometimes stealing the show to offer a touching monologue. I got emotionally involved in some characte...

Apex Legends - Release

Apex Legends - Release To say that the launch of Apex Legends exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. 50 million players in the first month (and more since) is staggering for any game, let alone a new IP from a relatively small team who were taking their first swing at a free-to-play game. Rapid growth is a wonderful thing to achieve, and we’re thrilled with the response we’ve received since launch. However, that growth comes with some clear challenges, and we’ve hit a few bumps along the way, including missteps with our updates, not giving players enough visibility into future content, and not properly setting expectations on how we plan to support Apex Legends. We are 100% committed to the long-term growth of Apex Legends, and supporting the millions playing every day. So today we want to reset our commitment to you and give you some insight into where we are as a development team and how we’re approaching live service for Apex Legends. Getting...

Irradiant Cosplay: Project Anthem

Irradiant Cosplay: Project Anthem by Max Cosplay can be described as an outward expression of passion. A formidable force that unleashes creativity, inspiring players around the world to produce jaw-dropping renditions of their favorite video game characters. Franchises like Mass Effect and Dragon Age have long historical connections to cosplay, and with international events like gamescom, it's not uncommon to see famous BioWare characters like FemShep make an appearance on show floor. It was during a similar expo, the husband and wife duo behind Irradiant Cosplay, caught their first glimpse of Anthem. “I remember seeing Anthem and being immediately drawn to its mysterious world, the idea of the game, and the design of those incredible javelin exosuits,” said Elliott. As the Anthem Official Gameplay Reveal, took them on a journey that teased a landscape of primeval beauty, the couple had an ambitious idea: To build the first ever, fully functional, cosplay of ...

Technology the age of Digital Games

Technology the age of Digital Games by Max   With technology, everything has become more effective. Innovations with the use of games in the classroom have increased student engagement and satisfaction with their studies. Teachers incorporate game design elements and platforms, however, outside the context of the game. This innovation has been successful in colleges and schools more than any other innovation because it is simple. However, some people are still confused about this technology and argue how bad it is for children.
